Priya Fink is a Chicago-based flutist, originally from Houston, Texas. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Flute Performance with a minor in Communication and Media from DePaul University and recently completed her MBA in Arts Innovation from The Global Leaders Institute. A passionate educator, Priya teaches flute and woodwinds in Sistema Ravinia’s Austin Nucleo. She has also taught in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra’s school outreach program and helped develop curriculum as a Teaching Artist with the University of South Florida’s REACH grant. In addition to teaching, Priya is an active freelancer and has performed with ensembles including the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Ballet Indiana, and Opera Festival of Chicago.
Priya is the founder and Artistic Director of The Middle, a concert series centered around cross-genre collaboration and musical fusion. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside, reading, and making pottery.
