Event Description
The Ligeti series concludes with the highly lauded Pierre-Laurent Aimard, who had a long association with Ligeti and is regarded as a key interpreter of the music of our time. Here he pairs the composer’s visceral, exciting, and textural études with Beethoven’s sonata widely considered to be one of the most demanding and important works of the piano repertoire.
