Event Description
UChicago ensemble-in-residence Spektral Quartet arrive at Fulton Hall this November with a stylistically promiscuous program featuring Mozart out-Mozarting Mozart in his irrepressibly sunny Quartet in D major, K499. A fresh commission from Chicago Symphony Orchestra composer-in-residence Samuel Adams, cheekily titled Quartet Movement, finds itself in striking conversation with UChicago professor Anthony Cheung’s high-speed Bagatelles, for which the quartet is joined by piano lion Winston Choi.
