2022

Event Description

The Wurtz-Berger duo (Amy Wurtz, piano and Alyson Berger, cello) join forces with Parker+Hall Present (Marianne Parker, piano and Michael Hall, viola) to bring you a special iteration of Sweet Streams – one to celebrate the spirit of Mardi Gras through engaging music, thoughtfully paired with truffles from Chicago’s own Katherine Anne Confections and wines from Your Happy Place.

The program will include works by Astor Piazzolla, Rebecca Clarke, Gabriela Lena Frank, Claude Debussy, Liduino Pitombeira, and a world premiere by Chicago’s own Marc Mellits!

Innovative truffle flavor combinations and wine offerings will accompany each piece, highlighting aspects of the music (and the gustatory goods) that you may have never imagined!

This will be a hybrid event: we will deliver tasting kits to you (we can deliver out-of-state as well as locally to Chicago), and we will also invite an in-person audience to experience the pairing event firsthand!
