Event Description

Quarantine Puzzles

Live streamed from the Nevermore Performance Space, this program features music that references two periods of quarantine – the pandemics of 1918 and 2020. The pieces on the program reflect the conceptual puzzles created by the Dada artists in the 20th century, and the puzzles we’ve had to solve in the 21st century with the gradual loss of personal contact and gradual gain of online relationships. The program runs the gamut from music based on texts written before the 1918 pandemic to music created during the current pandemic.
