Event Description

Fulcrum Point Sound^Sphere explores the art of migration through the works of composers who were born in one country and are doing their compositive work outside their birthplace.

Spanish accordionist Jesús Mozo joins us from Madrid to perform works by José Mora, Akemi Naito, Pablo Chin, and Gonzalo de Olavide that were all written after they moved away from their home countries.

This program was designed by Dalia Chin, co-curator of Discoveries: Hear & Be Heard and Aux In.

The concert will be streamed on the Fulcrum Point YouTube Channel followed by a live discussion on Zoom between Jesús Mozo and Fulcrum Point Artistic Director Stephen Burns.
