“Selling Out?!” explores the Faustian choices artists flirt with when they utilize pop culture in the creation of their work; are they selling out? In homage to Stravinsky’s “Soldier’s Tale,” composers Tania León and Wynton Marsalis utilize popular dance forms, jazz, and Afro-Cuban music to spice up their modernist compositions.
