Event Description

Fifth House Ensemble joins Storycatchers Theatre’s Temporary Lockdown Ensemble for their full performance of Conscience versus the Double Life. Students who are currently housed in the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center have been working since the Winter of 2018 to write, produce, design, and perform this show based on real-life events from a variety of incarcerated youth.

Jack is living a double life: torn between his dream of being a firefighter and his illegal activities on the streets. Jack’s Conscience and his girlfriend Brittany both urge him to stay on the right track, but his friend ZZ pulls him in the opposite direction. Meanwhile, Brittany meets a girl at her new foster home who also leads a double life- and has a secret identity that will affect them both.
