Event Description

A program of deeply personal works inspired by the human voice and transcendence. CCO begins its 10th Anniversary season with a world premiere Let Me Sing from Chicago-based composer Eric Malmquist. Guest soprano Ariana Strahl will be featured performing a song cycle inspired by the works of Djuna Barnes, Sara Teasdale and Frances Harper. Other works by Christopher Cerrone, Mara Gibson and Brandon Harrington. Pre-concert talk at 6:30p; concert begins at 7:30.
