
Alex Reyes is a pianist, composer, and improviser who is currently based in Urbana, IL. He previously lived in Chicago, and had the pleasure of performing at venues such as the Chicago Public Library, Fourth Presbyterian Church, and the Green Mill. He plays a wide range of musical styles including new music, jazz/blues, folk music, and tango. In addition to his musical endeavors, he also has a passion for libraries and archiving, and has held volunteer positions at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Rosenthal Archives as well as the Leather Archives & Museum.
