Join Vanishing Point Ensemble for an evening of contemporary chamber works! In the second concert series of their inaugural season, Vanishing Point Ensemble presents their program, Intersecting Planes, featuring works whose composers interweave contrasting musical traditions and fragmentation. Influences include Renaissance chorale and Gregorian chant, Celtic fiddle tunes, Georgian and Japanese folk song, heavy metal, American and Appalachian traditions, and Mozart.
 
Works by Kevin Lau, Gabriela Ortiz, Paul Wiancko, Gabriella Smith, and Reena Esmail. Program will be approximately 1 hour, no intermission.

Doors are at 6pm and the performance will begin at 7pm. Dorothy remains open after the event until 11pm. RSVPs are free. A $12 cover will be charged at the door.
