Please join us for Transcendent Souls: A Celebration of Trans Identity and Sound on June 6, 2025 at 7pm at Wicker Park Lutheran Church! Transcendent Souls is a sensory-friendly concert of classical string music by trans composers performed by trans musicians. In collaboration with Wicker Park Lutheran Church, this project aims to celebrate trans artistry and highlight the intersection of values central to trans and Christian religious communities, such as the sacredness of the human body, cosmic inheritance, and transness as participating in the divine act of creation.

Experiencing trans art is a powerful way to deepen your allyship and engagement with your local queer community, and this concert is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible contributions of trans artists in an affirming and supportive space. Many thanks to Wicker Park Lutheran Church for welcoming us and to the Negaunee Music Institute at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for their generous support.
