Event Description

The venerable American String Quartet premieres a new work by Paul Cantelon based on Salman Rushdie’s 2008 novel The Enchantress of Florence, with the author reading excerpts amidst the music. In the second half of the program, Rushdie introduces one of Beethoven’s late quartets.
